Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Game Master's Dream, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Game Master's Dream is a web-based toolset for tabletop role-playing game masters. The service includes campaign management, battle map building, rules reference, initiative tracking, AI-assisted content generation (Pro plan), and real-time live session features (Pro plan).

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the operation of the platform. Where practical, we will provide notice before taking action. You may delete your own account at any time through Settings.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($8/month) or annually ($70/year). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the same rate until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, at which point your account reverts to the Free tier.

No refunds. All subscription payments are non-refundable. There are no prorated refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period. If you cancel, you will not be charged again, and you will retain Pro access until the end of your current paid period.

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, Inc., which acts as Merchant of Record. Your payment details are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy and are not stored by Game Master's Dream. By completing a purchase you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all campaign data, maps, character sheets, and other content you create using this service. By using the service, you grant Game Master's Dream a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service. We do not use your campaign content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you create or upload does not violate any applicable law or infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. You may not use the service to create, store, or share content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Emergency GM Tools feature generates content using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate, appropriate, or complete. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before using it in your game sessions. Game Master's Dream is not liable for any outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this service to: violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe on intellectual property rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service; use the service to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content; or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Game Master's Dream does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Game Master's Dream shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
